Why Lalu fumes on Raj?

For more than two decades Lalu has been in charge of Bihar affairs. He has been the face that world associates with Bihar. With his recent turn around of the Indian Railways fortunes he been a celebrated hero credited with the Indian Railways success story. So he is now used to be reffered to as successful persona. This almost shadows his failures to develop Bihar despite being responsible it well over a decade and half. This also overshadows the past curruptions charges he and his administrations had faced. Now what Raj Thakery and MNS is doing [it's rightness left to be decided judicial system], underlines Lalu's failures. What he suggests is people from Bihar not to eat into the jobs of people of Maharashtra. If Bihar has not been able to develop itself for over last 6 decades after independence then they should fix it. Adventure

I watched first day last show of Telugu movie : "Parugu - In the name of Love". The movie was releasing in a famous theater [Renuka Prsaanna] of our nearby Galli. The most challenging part was getting tickets for 3, that too in a legal way. As soon as the doors opened at 8:15, everyone [at least 300 of them] started running to the counter. Many jumped from the compound walls. Somehow I was among first 40 in the queue. What to say of those sandwiched moments in the queue; those 10 minutes felt like 10 hours :). Now first things first, title Parugu means run :). The hero of the movie is Allu Arjun. Now shame on you if you do not know who he is. He is a distant relative [i am bad in remembering the relational links:( ] of mega star Chiranjeevi. I understood most of the movie thanks to 2 of my Telugu friends sitting on either side of me. Thought train

The music is playing from my earphones and i have got one hour of a battery in laptop. This bearably hot evening i am on my train back to Bangalore from Udgir, my native. Humpi Link express, the train, is passing through some part of Andra Pradesh and its 4:47pm. In many Hindu rituals the priests pronounce the historic name of the area where the ritual is performed. I grew up listening to my being called as "Dandak Aranya". As it used to be called since Aryan time. Integral part of the Aryawarta - what we call Indian subcontinent. The Aryawarta as such is an island in every non-geographical sense, being surrounded by the Himalayan sea in the north and by the Indian Ocean, Arebean Sea and Bay of Bengal on the entire south. The stories from puranas tell the ancient stories related to the area - Dandak Aranya. It used to be a forest inhabiting extremely dangerous animals. This area was considered cursed, may be due to its inhospitality. On this day you rarely find a forest here.
