 It was a leisurely spent Saturday by lockdown standards. Stepped out for a bank visit. 

Also submitted online exam files from Atharv and Kanad at their school.

आज नित्य साधनेबरोबर हवनही केलं.

Started watching Harshad Mehta web series on Sony Liv. Like peculiar of the web series it is a page turner. Plan to complete tomorrow.

There was a cucumber subji for dinner. Quite a change. Tastes well in new form as well.

Read the third part of the Kenopnishad. Its in the form of a story. When the Gods won a battle, they were in awe of their own greatness with a shade of hubris. That's when a yaksha appears. Thats when Indra sends Agni first and Vayu next to know about the guest. However both of them with thier earth moving powers could not burn or fly a grass like object given by the guest. They return without completing thier mission. When on insistence of gods Indra himself goes to the guest, He mysteriously disappears. Appearing at that instance devi Parvati tells Indra that He was the parbramha himself and came to make you realise the greater truth. That the victory happened not because of the godly powers but because of the will of the parabramha. Indra understands the incidence in the perspective.

Thought of the day:

The test of the spiritual progress is in the maddening moments of life when emotions overpower the reason.

Friendship

This is one of the most joyous kind of relationship. There had been many quotations about friendship. The one that I remember most vividly is about between whom there can be friendship, it goes like this "friendship can exist between persons of same age-group and comparable in power." Personally for me greatest learning has been throgh friends and buddies. May it be knowing about ways of the world or having the fire to getting to the destined. Time, Timing & Making Things Happen

Effect of an action depends on its essentials and a great extent on its timings. Agreed there are absolute and unquestioned truths above & along the flow of time. Though that is not what we regard as time. As far as understanding of time goes there are uncountable human & environmental factors that make it almost impossible to reproduce a great phenomenon exactly same way again or at another place. It is said quite wisely, you always adapt, in a best possible way to any given situation. Folks who are successful are the ones who probably acted upon the best of the understanding of the given situation. There is no reason to believe the implied intension can not be carried out in a situation. Given the intentions do not have fundamental flaws, the environment to make them succeed can be induced. This truly should mean "making things happen" in a broader sense.
